Happy Birthday Roy! Happy Anniversary Stiglets!

This weekend was full of celebrations, after a pretty slow Saturday, we had a jam packed Sunday.  We started off the day at church then headed over to Brandon's brother's house for a crawfish boil for his dad's birthday. We bought him koozies for Father's Day last year with their camp in Grand Isle on them and got so much lip because we spelled Grand Isle wrong (Grande...both Brandon and I proofed it, I guess we didn't know how to spell Grand Isle at the time, but boy have we learned).  Anyway, Roy asked for some more koozies so we got him some for his birthday, in purple and gold and with all the words spelled correctly.

After the crawfish boil, or actually in the middle of the crawfish boil I left and sped over to Drusilla Seafood for a surprise anniversary dinner for our friends Dawn and Billy who are celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary this year.  Dawn and I worked together for seven years at the Crisis Center and I'm very blessed to call them friends.  Dawn's mother and sister-in-law planned the evening and it went off without a hitch...they didn't have the slightest idea and were truly surprised.  I bought them a compilation CD of love songs from the 80s which cracks me up...they were married in 1985!!  Congrats Dawn and Billy on 25 wonderful years!
